Welcome to the world of the

Title2.gif (391101 bytes)

This is Scotland's independent American vehicle and lifestyle club. It is really more of a like minded group of friends than a more formal club. It is very loosely run, without any rules, other than turn up at meetings and shows and feel free to voice any opinions !!!!!!

It all started in 1990 when it was felt that there was a need for an American car club with attitude correct enthusiasm. It took several meetings of the fledgling club before it got its name. Lists of proposed names had been read out and none received unanimous agreement. Eventually an in joke about legalities turned into 'Sick-Birds' and then 'Ill-Eagles' and everybody thought F@*K it that will do. This has become the usual democratic way of decision making for the club ! The 'ac' in our name stands for Americana Club. This means that if you have an American built Motorcycle, Truck or Powerboat you can still become a member without having to feel that because you weren't a car owner that the club did not apply to you. Every member is treated with the same disrespect no matter if his (or her) vehicle is a £30.000 classic or a rusted hulk awaiting restoration
